BUG Version 3.6.2 | Composer Field not display correctly
Audio Tag Editor

I'm using the compiled version.
Version 3.6.2 Linux binaries (64-bit)
Composer field does not display correctly. In a Music List, if I go up or down, navigating between them, most often does not display the text of the composer field. It is necessary to click on this field that is displayed in White to display the text in it.
Important: I noticed that it happens 70% of the time. It shows the text of some songs and not others, but when clicking on the blank field, it shows again.
I tried to reproduce this both on latest Arch Linux with KDE and on Ubuntu 18.04 with Gnome. But in both cases, everything was displayed correctly. What distribution and desktop environment are you using? Does it only happen with the composer field and not with other fields? It could be possible that this is rather an issue with the graphics drivers than with Kid3. Also note that the compiled version is built in order to run on as many Linux distributions as possible, therefore it uses an old Qt 5.6.3 and is build with an old compiler GCC 4.8. If you can find a binary package which is made for your distribution (see Downloads), you should try to use this because it will be compiled against exactly the libraries which are used in that distribution. And finally, could you check if this is only happening with version 3.6.2? I do not think that something has changed from 3.6.1 to 3.6.2 which could cause such a behavior. Maybe another component on your system was updated since you were using 3.6.1, probably something related to the graphics stack.
I have built a development package kid3-git20180910-Linux.tgz with a newer Qt version (5.9.6). You can find it in the development folder. Could you please check if the issue still occurs with this version?
Ok. I'll try, sorry for the delay in answering!
Fixed in Kid3 3.7.0.
