Hi J=E9r=F4me, Thanks for your reply. Find my replies embedded in the email below. I'll try and play around with the trial version. Do you use TCC with JBuilder? I have recently started using IntelliJ IDEA and like it so far. JB>=20 I have some experience writing ant build files. I'll be more than happy to= =20 help you out in this regard. To get to know the project better, I would=20 need to know a few things: 1. How do you currently create the 2 .ear files available for download?=20 How do the files get compiled? How do the tests get run? 2. I only have access to Tomcat 4.1.18 at the moment. Would that be a problem, at least in getting started? (I think I did download J2EE 1.3.1 at some point but never did anything with it) JB>=20 JB> I also encourage you to use the KiCsa mailing-lists in the future, and JB> not directly my email address. JB>=20 As per your request, I am sending this reply to the mailing list. I apologize for using your direct email address. Actually I just emailed to your users.sourceforge.net email account which in turn forwarded to your direct address. JB> Best regards, JB>=20 JB> J=E9r=F4me Beau. Hello KiCsa users, We recently updated the KiCsa website regarding the installation of KiCsa : - An new "Install" CVS module containing installation scripts (including DDL files necessary to create the relational database schema) - A updated description of the installation process in the Administrator's manual - Links to these materials from the KiCsa homepage (http://kicsa.sourceforge.net) By now the installation process is quite poor (DOS .bat files for J2EE-RI) and poorly documented and tested. Plans for future are to provide Ant scripts that automate the installation for various environments (application and database servers). Another planned feature is support for JDO persistence. |
