#1 Daemon nebula background brakes colour support

When "options KGC_RENDER_BACKGROUND" is enabled in the FreeBSD KGI kernel config, it will cause colour problems in the terminal. Most colours show up as a light unreadable share of red.

To repeat, build a kernel with 8bpp depth and disable the background, reboot, login & run "ls -FG" or "man man" to see the effects.
