I never particularly liked how I implemented this in previous releases so I am taking the opportunity to fix a past wrong and do this right in KDE4. For now I have made the list image size much larger to compensate for the lack of this feature. Sorry if you find this feature useful, but you will have to wait a bit as batch editing is top priority at the moment.
The feature has not gone away for good so please don't worry, it will be back.
