I am going to be given a MacBook at work.
That would be a great chance to experiment with Objective-C and Cocoa to design a nice sleek looking GUI for Kelpon the Mac OS X.
I did GUI apps for Windows in the past (long time ago) using straight C code and also C++ frameworks. I also did some basic work in X-Window (v11) maintaining a window manager (elwm).
I am not a GUI kind of guy, but I am recognising that getting familiar with the Mac World can only make me a more complete programmer.
