#33 ZIP format loses resource forks, corrupts type 1 postscript fonts

We've been evaluating Keka here in our prepress department, but we discovered a disconcerting problem with it. Client supplied ZIP files containing Mac Poscript Type 1 Fonts have said fonts corrupted when opened by Keka. This problem happens whether the checkbox for ignoring resource forks is selected or not. As you may or may not be aware, Postscript Type 1 fonts on the mac hold their data in the resource fork. Opening these ZIPs with the OSX default archive utility restores the fonts as expected.
