The path to PSCP/PLINK.exe is being forgotten at random intervals. Works correctly for a few database saves, then error pops up that PSCP/PLINK.exe can not be found. When using the settings advanced editor mode, the path value is present, but not in the guided settings setup utility. The path to my PSCP and PLINK.exe files is C:\Program Files\KeePass Password Safe 2\plugins\KeePassSync

I also have the same problem.

I have the same issue. I sync from my laptop to my server at home, and the whole arrangement is pretty close to perfect - except that at irregular times KeePassSync tells me I need to tell it where PuTTY is, and the path is blank.
I tried copying my PuTTY files into the KeePass root folder and checking the box for that, but this doesn't seem to work at all.

Can confirm exactly the same behaviour and have witnessed it across several KeePass releases including the current v2.18. As per the bug report, the sync fails with an error message referencing an inability to access the required pscp/plink executables, however, the ExecPath value is defined and correct in the KeePassSync entry. In addition, I've seen the idea floated around in the past that it may be during usage of the same database w/ sync on systems of a different architecture, however, I exclusively use KeePass on x64 systems.

Same problem, KeePass 2.20.1, KeePassSync 6.0.10.1.
Automated periodic sync works fine, but pscp/plink path is lost after a MANUAL sync, however, the sync itself is successful, only subsequent syncs fail with "Unable to find pscp/plink..."
