Allow entry to be pinned to every folder
A lightweight and easy-to-use password manager

It would be great to be able to toggle certain entries as pinned to the top (or optionally the bottom) of every folder window. Would be great for the few logins that are used daily.
Perhaps a checkbox on the Edit Entry popup. Or a specific folder that can be set to pinned at the top. We could name it "Pinned" or "Top" or whatever we want. Thanks
KeePass allows you to set any order you want for your entries. First, make sure that
View | Sort By | No Sort
is selected, then right-click on any entry you want to prioritize and selectRearrange | Move Entry to Top
(or wherever you want it to be). You can also set custom color(s) for any entries you want to stand out - that's also in the right-click menu, underEdit Entry (Quick) | Color
.EDIT: I just reread your post and realized that this still might not be exactly what you want - but the
View | Show Entries of Subgroups
option might get you closer. With this checked, any entry that's in the root folder (i.e., not in a subfolder) will show up at the top of the list.Last edit: T. Bug Reporter 2023-06-16
Thank you for the reply. I use coloring now, but that's not what I am looking for.
Tried subgroups, but that is the opposite.
Here's an example. FOLDER name in CAPS. Entry is lower case. Hope this makes sense.
BANKING
mybank
mycreditcard
FORUMS

PINNED (entry sorting is manual, and persists)
myName
myAddress
myEmail
So if I toggle PINNED to be a pinned set of entries, when I select folders, I see this:
BANKING
myName
myAddress
myEmail
mybank
mycreditcard
FORUMS
myName
myAddress
myEmail

Yes it does. That could probably be implemented as a plugin - which likely means Dominik (the KeePass author - the rest of us here are just interested bystanders) would be unlikely to add it as a feature within the program itself. Dominik seems to want to limit the main program to only those features that a majority of users would want; I guess it's his way of not overwhelming users with too many options - and also not overwhelming himself with work.
