I'm already familiar with the "field reference" feature. That's not what I'm after.

The program should have the option to select multiple entries and be able to edit fields that are "multi-editable". Fields like URL, password, username, and perhaps custom fields.

Choosing a "master" entry and referencing all others using a field reference is a poor user experience. Now I have to keep track of which entry is the master entry. And what if I delete that entry because it's no longer an active account? It's just a messy way.

It should be: select multiple entries, right-click and edit, and the multi-editable fields would be available and other fields would be grayed out. Very simple, very intuitive.

This plugin might be what you're looking for, it mentions Multiple selected entries can be edited together to perform mass changes on its homepage

You might also want to try the FieldsAdminConsole.
