#2303 Random User Name

A random Username generator based on different algorithms and rules would be nice to implement. For instance, the Pronouncable password generator might be used here, and site specific username rule choices as far as how many Caps, numbers, special characters, string length etc.

This should be an independent button besides UserName.

I have seen some requests for this; Is it going to be happening?

If it does happen, it'd probably be in the form of a plugin, similar to the Pronounceable Password Generator you mentioned. The trick would be to find someone who's competent at programming, and convincing that person to create such a plugin.
