Wouldn't we be better off with the ability to customize which shortcut we want (or not) on individual functions within Keepass. A default association would still be necessary, but it would be possible to choose a different one, or indeed to remove association with a keyboard shortcut.
We all have our idiosyncratic way to use keyboard shortcut. Mine is Ctrl-L which clashes with browsers' jump-to-address-bar command, which often makes me lock Keepass when jumping too quickly from Keepass to my browser. Judging by the number of requests pertaining to amending this or that shortcut, we all have similar stories.
Auto-Type shortcuts can be configured in
Tools>Options>Integration(tab)
. Menu option shortcuts aren't normally configurable.Yes, I am talking about customizing the menu option shortcuts (eg Ctrl-L for locking the database).
Are there plans to decide and schedule this enhancement request please?
An open FR is always under consideration, but KeePass is a one man show...
