I often want to use the same entry for several sites / apps, especially at work where the login information are centralized, so the user/password is the same accross all apps.
Right now I use duplicates with field references but this is quite annoying and it creates a lot of almost identical entries.
Please add an option in Keepass that allows auto-type to match an entry when the Notes contains the window title OR a String field matches.
It would allow the user to add several "match rules" for the same entry.
I could use tags but I don't think it would be the proper use, as I'd create a unique tag for each entry, and this tag would not be reused.
All the other match options (URL, title, host) only allow one unique value, we need one way to specify several values (being able to specify multiple URLs would also work but this feature request seem to already be rejected).
Define multiple custom auto-type sequences and upgrade to a current version of KeePass e.g. v 2.28 to make multiple matches (i.e. match multiple target windows) in the same entry. The 'Auto-Type Entry Selection' dialog will be displayed when multiple matches exist.
The number of window matches per entry is not restricted in current versions of KeePass 2.x (since v 2.17).
Also the match URL and host options are intended for use with the URL in Title browser extenisons. KeePass does not support URL matching natively.

Oh nice, didn't thought of using the Auto-Type target window. I'll try that, see if it fits my need.
I don't know what matches but in most cases Auto-Type works really well without me having to configure anything in the Auto-Type tab so I guess the match URL / Host option works (probably "if its title is contained in the target window title" or "if the host component of its URL is contained in the target window title"
Ok, using auto-type target window works like a charm, you can close this request.
