Is there any way to have custom expiry lengths in the "Expires" drop down box. For example, there is now, 1 week, 2 weeks, etc. It would be nice to be able to create custom time frames as well.
Looking for something similar, I also found https://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/feature-requests/2050/
My idea was to introduce some "date math", so one could enter "+90D" (for example) for the expiration date, and the date would be set to 90 days from now.
"D" for" days" might be subject to localization (like "T" for "Tage" in German); maybe not.
Several professional programs dealing with time a lot allow such kind of date mathematics.
Related to https://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/feature-requests/2050/ the expression "+90D" could be saved in some magic field, so it could be re-applied after a password change.
Or maybe even more generic, let's define "password policies" (similar to "password generator profiles" that could specify the password validity (among others, like mix/max length, allowed characters, etc). The such password policy could be assigned to entries.
GPG uses this:
0 = key does not expire
<n> = key expires in n days
<n>w = key expires in n weeks
<n>m = key expires in n months
<n>y = key expires in n years
