I'm using the latest version of KeePass and Windows 10. I have installed the IOProtocolExt plugin.
. I store my database on a web host that I can access via FTP with no issues. I have just installed Windows 10 Open SSH and connect successfully to my host using WinSCP via SFTP (SSH). Sync " never" works. Once in a while sync does work; using FTP. The error is always the same: Cannot sync due to the state of the object. Can you help? This truly a bummer!! I can save the database to the web host. The database downloads fine (using FTP) .
When open Sync To URL or save to URL, I need to reenter all the login credentials even when I select Remember Name and Password.
How do I configure KeePass to use SFTP( SSH)? What should the URL contain? Should I use the password I use to connect with WinSCP? Just looking for some general guidance here.
Thanks
John (aka TechnoDino)

Does WinSCP allow you to download the database manually or via KeePass?
Does it allow you to save?
Credentials should be saved in the KeePass config file. Check that you have write access to it.
The URL to use is the same one that works in WinSCP, as is the password.
To get more information on the SFTP transaction, turn on logging in WinSCP. You can post the log here if you need help.
