I got this error using ftp access to my PW file --- where can I find out the state its in and why KP will not read it?
    Thanks ---

KeePass doesn't like your FTP server for some reason.
Until you work out what is wrong copy the file locally.

Did KeePass ever open the file?
Have you changed anything computer or FTP server related before it stopped working?

    cheers, Paul

Hello -- Thanks for the reply --- I don't think its the ftp server --- its works with another share on eh device --- this share is a clone of my dropbox account -- my guess is that the app running in the server is causing keepass to fail -- but I can ftp to that share manualy / shell and download the pw with no issues -- is there any way to see what error keepass is getting?

The error information comes from .NET and is not provided to the user, that I am aware of.

Accessing the file by another method is not the same as using FTP in KeePass, so this is not a valid test - except of the database file itself.

You can use the IOProtocolExt plug-in to bypass the .NET FTP handler.

    cheers, Paul
