    Hi everybody,

    I happen to have a problem with the autotype feature. And instead of just throwing the pc out of the window I'd like to ask you for help :)
    I have a website with a flash-(urgh)-login form with three fields needed. All of them are static.
    To fill them, I use the normal username/password entrys and the custom field "account". The AutoType string is as follows:

    {S:Account}{TAB}{USERNAME}{TAB}{PASSWORD}{ENTER}

    In the form, performing the Autotype, the content of "account" is simply ignored. Even if I put the content of the entry in plaintext instead of {S.Account} it does not work.
    Second and third field are filled correctly.
    If I clear any entry from the AutoType-String, just leaving the {S.Account} or the corresponding text there, this can not be filled anywhere in the form. I even tried to add three {TAB} or add a {DELAY 200} at the beginning ... nothing works.

    Please, anybody, can you help me out with this?

    KeePass 2.36
    All entrys are correct.
    Targed window for Autotype correct.

    Are you saying that the first thing that is typed doesn't appear?
    How are you triggering Auto-Type, hot keys or from KeePass?
    What happens if you put fake data first? e.g. Fake{TAB}+{TAB}{S:Account}{TAB}{USERNAME}{TAB}{PASSWORD}{ENTER}
    Can you post the URL for us to test?

    cheers, Paul

    URL is https://acd.mwl.telekom-dienste.de/main.html (you will not be able to create an account, but if you leave out the {RETURN} you should be fine :) )

    I tried again (I promise, I did before!), and now, {TAB}{TAB}{TAB}{S:Account}{TAB}{UserName}{TAB}{Password}{ENTER} is working. It is not the way it should be, but it is a way.
    I do not know, why this had not worked the day before.

    Maybe, we can still figure out, why it does not work the proper way without cycling through the fields first.

    That implies that you have not placed the cursor in the Account field before starting Auto-Type.
    You should click on the Account field, then press the Global Auto-Type hot keys.

    That would be really arkward, if I did not, isn't it?
    Unfortunately, it is not that simple.
    Additionally I corrected the string mentioned above; was {RETURN}, should be (and now is) {ENTER}

    That site wouldn't accept any input so I closed the tab, re-opened it and I could enter data.
    This Auto-Type sequence worked for me via the global Auto-Type hot keys.
    {S:Account}{TAB}{USERNAME}{TAB}{PASSWORD}

    cheers, Paul
