KeePass v2.40 (Portable) in Windows 10 v1809 - "Select Password Font" - NOT WORKING!

Tools > Options > Select Password Font (wanted to use Consoles font), but any selection fails to update the choice. Note, only the "Select List Font" is working. How to correct, fix or repair the issue?

What doesn't work? Does the font change or does the change not stick?
If the change doesn't stick it's likely that you don't have write access to KeePass.config.xml.
