I have two databases (kdbx) in keepas 2.30

i have a triggers that syncs the db on save

but i would like to sync first db to first location and sync second db to second location

but the triggers are just for the program, so it always syncs to same db.

    any recommendations?

In order to sync one db to a different db in a trigger, the 1st db (ftp location 1) has to be open and the 2nd db (ftp location 2) has to be the sync target. While the KeePass trigger knows where the 1st db is (it is open), KeePass does not know where the 2nd db is unless you specify the location in the File/URL field of the "Synchronize active database with a file/URL".

If the databases have different names you can use different triggers with a filename filter in each.

    Can someone please help -
I would like to synchronise 2 seperate databases (1 personal, 1 business with different passwords) I can get one set of triggers to work. But as soon as I add another with the different file path i keep getting the message saying the databaseshave set two two triggers for each of my database (2) but get an error message keeps saying the passwords needs to be the same. Is there a way of achieving this please.

It sounds like the trigger that is failing is trying to synchronize a source database with a target database that uses a different master key. Verify that the source and target databases defined in the trigger that fails share the same master key.

If you are basing your triggers on the Synchronizing with Dropbox / other PC synchronization software example, the databases specified in step 8 and step 16 must use the same master key. Make a separate trigger set for each database pair and define the parameters in Step 8 File/URL - Comparison to "Equals" and the File/URL - Filter to the "full path and name of the source db", where the source db corresponds to the active database that is to be synchronized with the target db defined in Step 16.
