Hello. I've been using KeePass for several years already, but now I've faced a problem which I can't solve. I'm using KeePass on my laptop and my PC, both running latest Win10 with all updates. Both running same KeePass and plugin versions (latest too). But on my PC KeePass is crashing quite often, several times a day. which makes it quite unusable to me.

The crash log is always the same:
Faulting application name: KeePass.exe, version: 2.44.0.0, timestamp: 0x5e2578c1
Faulting module name: MMDevAPI.DLL, version: 10.0.18362.387, timestamp: 0x1626851d
    Exception code: 0xc0000005
    Fault offset: 0x0000000000019a95
    Faulting process id: 0x6704
    Faulting application start time: 0x01d5f4681d6791a0
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass Password Safe 2\KeePass.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\MMDevAPI.DLL
    Report Id: 06362184-ba09-413f-84b0-3d049a52ebdb

    Plugins I'm using:
    Entry Templates for KeePass (8.0.0.0)
    Favicon Downloader (1.9.0.0)
    KeeAgent (0.11.1.0)
    KeePassHttp (1.8.4.2)

Please help to nail that problem down, it really drives me insane: having to start and unlock KeePass 5 times a day is not a pleasure at all.

Seems to be a MultiMedia file. Does KeePass have / play audio / video on your PC?

Check the system files by running SFC,

    1. Open a Command Prompt as admin.
    2. Type: sfc /scannow
    3. If you get errors that can't be fixed type: dism /offline /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    4. Perform step 2 again. Repeat until you get no more errors.

    cheers, Paul

No, I guess not. Can't find anything related to multimedia in KeePass. Neither in settings nor in the database. I've already tryed to scan my system, nothing.

Disable all the plug-ins, close and re-open KeePass. If it's OK enable plug-ins one at a time.

    cheers, Paul
