I am not able to connect to a database via scp using IOProtocolExt and AutoExec without entering the credentials for the ftp server.
I have defined the string fields locUserName and locPassword for the entry but other than with the webdav Database i have to enter my credentials manualy. The IOProtocolExt seems to ignore those entries.
Is there a way to use this feature also with ftp

I assume it works when not trying to open a database with AutoExec? (You would need to save the credentials on open.)
Does it work with AutoExec if you save the credentials?
cheers, Paul

you assume right.
The saved credentials on manualy opening the database from the ftp server are stored and used the next time i unlock the database.
With Autoexec i have to enter them every time I open the database. At the moment the database resides on a webdav share and there the locUserName and locPassword are working fine. But I have to move to the ftp server. So it seem to be a problem with the IOProtocolExt combination.

Have you tried the SftpSync plug-in?
https://keepass.info/plugins.html#sftpsync
cheers, Paul
Yes, i tried SftpSync an have the same result as with IOProtocolExt.
Maybe the locPassword and locUSerName are only used with opening keepass db directly or via Webdav.
I can't test that combination so I'm out of ideas.
cheers, Paul
