When I try to copy the link for the file in Dropbox it doesn't recognize the file and saying it's corrupted or damaged? I entered the login and password to Dropbox and the direct file .dbx but it fails.

KeePass sometimes has trouble with external comms, but it is hard to diagnose because KeePass uses .NET to do the work and it causes the problem.
The easiest way around it is to use the native dropbox client to manage the sync and only use local files in KeePass.

So that sync features is going to a bug issue for the forseeable future?
It may not be a KeePass bug, it may be your setup.
Others here use Dropbox, so it may be worth explaining exactly how you are attempting to use Dropbox for them to comment.
