    Hi
I've tried searching for guidance on this without success. Perhaps an experienced KPEntryTemplates user could advise?

I've just begun to use the KPEntryTemplates plugin in my long-time existing KP database. In the Template I created one of the fields to have the type 'Listbox'. When I then apply that Template in a Child I do get a Listbox field presented. So far, so good.
I thought/hoped that simply typing a value in to the empty Listbox would be the way to begin populating the Listbox with the choices I wanted to have for other entries. However this didn't seem to work. The value I typed in wasn't stored at all in the entry.
So I went back to the Template creation, and in the Advanced tab, selected the field "etm_options" for the field I'd designated as the Listbox, and tried typing in potential options there, each one on a separate line. However when I then went back to the child, I now had a single pull-down entry with all these options listed on the same line.
I had tried to create -
    A
    B
    C
    and what I got was
    A B C

So, how do I populate the Listbox with the options that I want to have available when I use it in each Child?
Please save my poor old head from further scratching.

    Separate the items with commas.
    e.g. Item1,Item2,Another Item, Something else to choose,Item5

    cheers, Paul

    Nnnnrrghh! Doh!

I actually thought about different character separators, and for some reason started with semi-colons. When that didn't work I thought, "I could be months trying all the various alternatives. Why not ask the forum and get the answer in a matter of hours?"

It works exactly as required now.
Thank you very much indeed. Very attentive support - much appreciated.
