Hello -- I generaly would like to update my master password on my time, but keepas must have some sort
of timing in the -- after a time I keeps asking me if I want to update / change it --- is there a way to turn this
off?

Don't blame KeePass... At some point you must have set "Recommed changing the keys (days)" in your database (it is not set by default).
To switch it back, while the database is open, go to File>Database Settings>Advanced(tab) and uncheck the Master Key changing settings.
