at first of all - i am sorry already for my bad english! :(
I need help!
Our Admin installed me the KeePass and on other peoples pc's it works and for me it doesn't.
My System: Windows 10 Enterprise
My KeePass Version: 1.24
I can edit a new entry. I type in the Title, the User name, the password and the URL.
What i want:
When i klick on this Entry, i would like if it could open everytime on my internet explorer (because this is my favorite one).
When i klick on this Entry, i want the site to be open automatically - and here is the main problem - i want it to type in automatically my user name and my password, so i don't need to type it in manually.
I can click on the entries i placed but everytime i have to type in the user name and the password manually (-> for this, i wouldn't need KeePass and i could just set the URL's on my "Favorites" in IE)
Please can somebody help?
Thank you, Best Regards.

you can just double click the URL(will be opened on default browser) then hit the hotkey for auto-type(default is ctrl+alt+A). you must enable auto-type for the entry
also make sure you target the window correctly

Note: this will change IE to be the default browser not just for keepass but for any program,
to do it on windows 10, go to default app settings-> web browser then choose IE or edge.

Cpt Trouble: having read Frytka1722's request I don't believe this is the best solution.
I don't see any request to change the Windows default browser, only that this specific KeePass entry should always use IE. There may be other keePass entries where other browsers are preferred.
Frytka1722: Open your database entry to edit it. Select the 'Properties' tab. Pull-down the options in the 'Override URL' field. Now you can select from any of the browsers listed there and KeePass will use that browser to launch that specific URL.

True, but I warned him as I don't know of another way to make sure it would open with IE.. he can use that solution or he can choose to not use it...its his choice just gave him an option

Hello, thank you so much, it works perfectly :)
also you can edit the default sequence to open the URL for you..
Where can i edit the default so the URL will open just on internet explorer?
Note: this will change IE to be the default browser not just for keepass but for any program,
to do it on windows 10, go to default app settings-> web browser then choose IE or edge.
