It was nice if I could add a field to a specific entry...for example, many times, an account is associated to an e-mail and its important to know wich e-mail is registered in that account. It could be a nice feature if I could add this specific field (one of the most used) or a more specific one (custom).
I sincerely like this project, congratulations!!!

How does V2 handles these user added fields? Does it let the user create custom "types" of records with these fields (i.e. like eWallet) or are they added on an item by item basis?

I keep on reading that v2 has additional fields, but I don't see them.
In my case, when I'm saving db credentials, I'd like to also save db name and server info encrypted. I don't want to put in notes field. can anyone help me figure out how to enable additional password fields?

The data entered into the additional fields you create (via the advanced tab or using the KPenhancedEntry view plugin - recommended) is encrypted with the whole database when it is saved.
You comment suggests that you might want additional encryption for these fields The whole database is encrypted when stored on disk. No fields within the database have any further encryption.
The password field is normally hidden behind dots (unless it is made visible) but is not further encrypted.

Why don't you download a copy of V2 alpha and test it. You may find some bugs or have some useful suggestions?
cheers, Paul
Additional fields would be great, including:
-Account Status (Open / Closed / etc.)
-Registered Email Address
-PIN
-Date Last Visited.
-Fields for security / password reset questions.
-Other fields for 2-Factor authentication
Great project btw. thx.

In the 'Add Entry' window, click on the 'Advanced' tab.
Add the plugin "Entry Templates for KeePass"
This makes it much easier to create for example an Credit card template
with all required fields.
