This release is a bugfic release for KBear 2.1,
If you haven't encounterde any problems with that release there is no need to update.

KBear 3.0alpha1 released

The KBear team is glad to announce the immediate availability of KBear 3.0alpha1. KBear 3.0alpha1 is a graphical ftp client for KDE/Linux and is available for download from the project homepage:

http://kbear.sourceforge.net

Note: this version requires KDE 3.1

This release is the first development release of the new version of KBear. The application is using a totally new codebase and is now using a much more flexible pluginbased architecture. Several new features are now available through this pluginbased framework like a queue and transfer manager for example, and more will come

KBear 2.1 released

We are very glad to announce the release of KBear 2.1
KBear is a graphical FTP client for KDE/Linux with ability to concurrent connections to multiple hosts. This release contains several bug fixes, as well as new features including SOCKS support, firewall support, and new translations of the GUI and documentation.

CORRECTION new Redhat RPMS was for 7.3 NOT 8.0

Due to a mistake made by me the new Redhat RPMS was earlier announced as Redhat 8.0 RPMS. This should be Redhat 7.3.

KBear 2.0beta2 released

We're glad to announce the release of KBear 2.0beta2.
This release includes bugfixes, stability fixes as well as new features and
translations. So far binary packages are available for Mandrake 8.2, Connectiva 8.0 and Slackware 8.1.

KBear 2.0alpha1 released

We are very glad to announce the first pre-release of the upcoming KBear 2.0.
Note that this release is a development release, released mainly for bugtracking, not meant for daily use.
This new release has undergone a total reimplementation with lots of new
