I'm using 2.0.6 on Ubuntu 8.04 (I forgot to tell)
I've tryed in other two similar systems (coworkers computers) and we had 
the same error.

Finally I managed to print the labels, the trick was to enlarge the text 
size from 8pt  to 22pt, although the text was too large, once we print 
the label the text appears in correct size.

If I need to print more bar codes, I'll use 2.0.7 version.
