Lost count how many times I have installed your os and getting the invalid password box (even after writing them down so not to forget). Printed the "getting started" notes and followed them step by step, now after installing and before rebooting tried to type in the the command lines in step 18 "sudo chroot /target" I get a reply "sudo: chroot/target: command not found" what am I doing wrong?

Is there a work around so I can by pass the password?
Hi Chet,
You are the very first person to be stuck at this point after claiming to have
followed the instructions in the GETTING_STARTED document.
My first thought is that there is some subtle difference between what you did
and that which was documented. The documented procedure explicitly gets past
the problem of the password.
For some reason that I do not understand, the Ubuntu installer is not creating
the requested account or password, necessitating the workaround described in
the GETTING_STARTED document.
It is the same thing I have been using. Tomorrow I will format the drive and try reinstalling it again and see what happens. Other then that I don't know what else to try

Be sure to check the MD5SUM to ensure that you have an uncorrupted download.

HI Chet,
Please confirm: * Which version of AHRL are you trying to install? * From which location did you download the GETTING_STARTED document?
Thanks, and 73,
Andy

got it all from source forge, and down loaded AHRL v25 dated 2022-09-03
Be sure that you're typing "sudo chroot /target" with a space after "sudo" and "chroot".

Please be VERY sure to have used this document:
