99% of the emails received to date involve problems that user's wouldn't have encountered had they simply read the short documentation. Almost all of those problems related to the creation of the user account.
Here's the issue:
* The Ubuntu installer doesn't create the specified user account. I have no idea why.
* Even if it did create the account, it doesn't associate the account with all of the necessary groups.
* I've created a script to resolve both of these problems: /root/bin/fix_account
* There's no way that I have found to avoid this extra step, but it is only done once per account.
Short of all that, I don't know what else to do to improve the user experience. I don't like to give the polite RTFM response, but it is frustrating that I've taken the time to document this feature and nobody bothers to read it.
If somebody has some very constructive critique, please contact me offline.
Thanks, and 73,
Andy

There is a file called GETTING_STARTED and it is available here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/kb1oiq-andysham/files/v25/GETTING_STARTED/download
If somehow THAT doesn't work, there's a nice review by "The Old Tech Guy" on YouTube that shows his experience with the installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEd5uMoksa8&t=5s
I have created a link to the GETTING_STARTED document on the project's summary page:
