I am trying to install the latest versiln to my Dell laptop. Everything appears to be working really well until I attempt to reboot the system from the hard disk. when I try this I get no operating system found? I have tried six times.
Any idea?

HI Tom,
Be sure you are following the directions as specified here for the latest
version of AHRL (v25):
Thanks for the response. The ISO tests out as fine and I’m able to boot off
the USB drive and use as a live operating system. I set the bios to boot
off the hard disk and it’s a no go. The program appears to go through all
the steps of installing but I can’t tell if any changes were made to the
disk except for wiping the Windows installation

HI Tom,
This problem sounds quite unique.
I recommend rebooting the USB drive and mounting the target hard drive to see
if it has been updated.

I booted from thumb drive and I can see many new folders/files dated
yesterday but most of the folders are merely 4kB in size. A 2 GB swapfile
dated yesterday takes up most of the space.

Tom,
I'm quite puzzled. Can you successfully install a stock Ubuntu ISO?

Also, be very sure that your BIOS setting is booting the desired device.
Check the MD5SUM of the ISO which you downloaded to be sure it is not corrupt.
Does your ISO file work in Virtualbox?

OK, so this tells me that the problem is not specific to AHRL.
