I had a great time at Hamvention! There were about 100 people at my talk on Friday morning. I can see that there is a lot of interest in AHRL.
I am working on version 26 of AHRL. I'm taking an entirely different approach in order to support more flavors of Linux, and also to support Raspberry Pi.
Up to now, I've been hand crafting Xubuntu Linux to turn it into AHRL. Many folks have asked for AHRL on different flavors of Linux, such as Linux Mint / Cinnamon. Previously, that wasn't possible.
Now, however, I've tested unreleased code that seems to work on Linux Mint 21.3, Raspberry Pi OS 5.2, and Ubuntu 24.04. This has the strong potential of increasing the possibilities for the user community.
I hope to be able to release this software in about 1 month. The download will also be MUCH smaller (100s of MB instead of 5-6 GB).
Stay tuned ........
