Andy,
I wanted to do KB1OIQ on my HP Mini 110-1125NR Netbook as I did 3 years ago.
I used Ubuntu 16.10 gparted to create a 3.03 GB msdos partition and set the boot flag.
Next I used unetbootin to read the file andy-v20-32bit.iso to the /dev/sdb1 as above.
The app did 19 files but the space was only 506.13 mb used and 2.53 gb unsed according to gparted.
Many files were 0 length
Am I using right tools to make a bootable USB ?
I thought I did it this way in 2013 !

Found the ISO download completed sucessfully prematurely so file size was only 512 meg.
Sorry for stressing anyone.
Now booted and I begin reconstructing as in the old insall of V15 three years ago.

The failure of the 32-bit installation at the point of installing the boot loader is a known, documented problem, and has long since been been solved. Please boot the live medium and lood at the "README FIRST" menu selection. It explains exactly what do to to get a properly working 32-bit installation of "Andy's Ham Radio Linux".
I typically use usb-creator-{gtk-kde} to convert the ISO file into a bootable USB thumb drive.
Please keep us posted regarding your progress.

Install completed up to update-grub then fail so I continued without GRUB
Reboot comes to GRUB prompt so tried boot USB the first hard drive which is at initramfs.
I am off to research or retry again.
This hack is still needed !
Then GRUB works at boot but need to select advanced option and second kernel 3.13.0-85-generic
This is using andy-v20-32bit.iso
