First pleasse subcribe to the kati-dev mailing list.
Then we can discuss what you should do.
I have some ideas:
- handling of help messages
- handling of xml validation errors
- design the architecture of multi language support (not yet designed)
and of course the implementation
- or if you are an XSD expert, some xsd query functions, but these
require more talks

Secondly, you can see whats going on, if you checkout the code and
compile it. On the kati website there are some hints.

We are ready to answer your further questions and  help you to catch
up with the project.
As soon as you have some meaningful code to commit, you will have the rights. ;)
