[Kash Money Manager Development] starting pointers

Hi,
   I would like some pointers on how to get started
with this project. I think a simple point by point FAQ
would be useful for any new person. The things that I
would like to know are:

- What is the best/standard way for source control ?
- What is the build process as a standard ? (I used
KDevelop)
- Are there any design documents associated with the
project ?
- Are there any functional requirements document
associated with the project ?
