Karatasi on iPhone uses regular html to display the contents of the cards. It would be nice to have tables available to display certain contents, such as for example the numberous grammar tables in Kiswahili.
Proposal for solution: Define an escape sequence in a card field which switches the mode to "raw html". This will allow a technical user to use html format in the content field, but the non-technical user can just enter any content which he wants to learn, even html format expressions.
Proposal for the escape sequence: <blank>#html (at the beginning of the card content field).
Issues to be resolved:
- card list view?
- search string?

i did propose for database version 4: we define a html tag, stored in the status table with the key htmltag. If a data field contains the tag at the beginning, the following data are interpreted as html. That means that the html key characters will not be masked. That allows using all html features, including tables.

1.8.0 supports an html tag. html tables work.
