svn 3139: the following issue was seen on a device with iOS-7.
Note that a solution should be verified on a true device, as the simulator behaves strange when it is launched in landscape mode.
Scenario:
- application setting: on Rotation rotate screens
- turn the device to landscape mode, then launch the application.
- see application launch and startup in portrait mode as expected.
Expected behavior:
- after startup rotate screen to landscape mode.
Observed behavior:
- screen stays in portrait mode till you turn it again.

    Fixed with svn 3149.

Reopened. It is fixed for iOS-7, but not yet for iOS-5 (tested with simulator).

    Closed again.
Unfortunately, I have no true device with iOS-5 for testing.
I suspect that the iOS-5 simulator is buggy; it seems to think that it runs in portrait mode.
