Hi cicam support is already implemented in kaffeine (and is supposed=20 to work ...) However it's only "activated" if you tune to a scrambled channel.=20 So if you don't get lock with a cam inserted it's very likely that=20 the problem is somewhere else (not at kaffeine). I'm currently running Kaffeine 8.2 beta without the CAM inserted, because Kaffeine gets no lock when the Module is in. When watching unscrambled channels Kaffeine crashes randomly after=20 a couple of minutes or hours. It leaves the following output: ######################### kaffeine: KXineWidget: xine event: channels changed kaffeine: KXineWidget: New video frame size: 761x576 - aspect=20 ratio: 1.06667 kaffeine: KaffeinePart: got new frame size from xine kaffeine: Kaffeine: new video frame size: 761x576 kaffeine: slotSpeedPause() out pipe closed EIT (0:0) : buffer overflow! I'm currently writing my Master Thesis in Computer Science, therefor I do have the necessary skills to help you - but unfortunately I don't have much time left wright now... But please tell me, if there is anything I could test or debug on=20 my system to support you. PS: As it might matter: I'm using Ubuntu Dapper Regards, Oliver S. |
