Two things you could try: 1) Check if ~/.kde/Autostart has a link to Konqueror. 2) In the Controlcenter->KDE Components->Session management, try switching to an empty session. If the second option helps you, then you know that Kaffeine is somehow stored in your saved session, and this is the cause for it to start up when you log in.
