I liked the Checklist feature and would like that be extended to User Stories task transitions. e.g If I have a few columns like Dev->Testing->Done configured, I would like a check list feature to be completed or marked to move from Dev-> Testing or Testing-> Done, This would be a wonderful feature and an added precautionary step to complete to move to the next state. I have seen my developers making lots of mistakes in terms of forgetting steps to complete when they say a task is complete. Let me know if you see is feasible to implement.

I understand you ask to be able to choose columns in the checklist as in tasks board. I understand, but you may use directly an US and linked tasks to do that.
It is that ?
In fact, for the checklist feature, we are about to hide it at least and probably to kill it, since it is more or less a simple board as if with US and tasks and some users said it is unuseful since they have US and tasks. Then, we won't invest dev time on that feature and simply let it as it is. For those who do not use it, it may just be hidden as a menu in profiles.

No you did not understand my question. Right now I have four columns in my sprint dashboard e.g To Do, In Progress, In Review , Done
Now each US will some some tasks. What I am asking is, for me to move my first task from To Do to In Progress , I should have a checklist so that the developer does not miss anything when moving from first column to the next. again giving you an example of it say I have a task which is in Review column and as a check list I want the developer to make sure he has checked in the code and placed the exe in some location, so that will be my two tasks in check list. So when the user is moving his task from In Review to Done column, he should have completed these two check list tasks to go to the next column which is done. I guess the text is huge but have explained it. Let me know if you still need any clarification.

Ok, ok, then I understand !
I know of another tool (not open-source) that has the same feature.
I have rewritten the US : "As an user I want to be able to have a checklist when moving a task from one column to another in the sprint board."
It is an intersting feature, but not an easy one to develop (then, i'm sure a developper will take it as a personnal challenge!). Anyway, I could add it in the R9-RedTiger release for may/june this year.
It will be an option linked to column choosing in the menu "Project Configuration"/"Tasks columns"

Wonderful, thanks for considering the idea. I will look forward for the feature.

This feature is US616 and has been planned for R10-GreenBee. It was too difficult to plan for R9
