Crash on selection of top folder

When I run K-Yamo it scans the Music directory in my home directory, as it should, and appears to find all the songs there. And displays the hierarchy of folders. However if I attempt to select the top level folder in it's leftmost pane, K-Yamo immediately exits without any error message.
I have about 6 GIG of music files so I don't have an outrageously large music collection.
Version: 0.40a4 (from Ubuntu repository)
If I run kyamo from the command line, it does write the following to sysout before it exits:
KCrash: Application 'kyamo' crashing...
Could not find 'drkonqi' executable.
KCrash cannot reach kdeinit, launching directly.
Actually, I guess it might be useful to provide ALL the sysout output when I run kyamo from the command line and then see it crash as I described:
