I'm running kacpi 0.6pre3 under SuSE 8.0.

kapci won't automaticly update the remaining battery
time.

I've set up auto-update to 20 sec.

Any idea, what wen't wrong?

    Hello,
does k-acpi update the other values ?
Or does k-acpi nothing if you press the update-Button ?
If K-acpi does not update all values open the conf dialog
    and press the
    OK -Button.
If K-acpi update all values (the AC-adapter is NOT
    connected to the laptop)
but k-acpi does not the update remaining time then we
    have a problem. :-(

->You use Suse 8.0, what Kernel and what
    ACPI-subsystem do you use ?
ACPI-subsystem version can you find out with cat
    /proc/acpi/info

    I hope it work.

If I unplug the powersupply not changes are made. Also the
    remaining working time isn't updated.

No! That's works fine. If I press the reload button, the
    remaining
time will change or the power-supply status will be updated.

I've done this but there are no automatic changes!

    That's right, I think I / we have a problem ...

I'm using SuSe 8.0 with Kernel 2.4.18 with the
    acpi-kernel-patches from:

    I use with patch too.

    Ok, my last idea:
start kacpi, open the conf-dialog, set the update time to 10
sec. Press the apply-button, than the OK-button. Than
close the kacpi the FILE/QUIT. Than restart the app.

    If this will not work:
make a cat $HOME/.kde/share/config/kacpirc and send me
an email to jonasge@gmx.net. (i'm german)
