Hey Robert & everyone,

My sincerest apologies. I was using --

  /opt/jython-2.1a1/

when I should have been using --

  /opt/java/jython-2.1a1/

because, um, well -- the latter, not the former, is where Jython is installed 
on my system!!!! So I fixed my paths and things work now. :)

That said, I think I learned a lot from this experience about setting up the 
Jython environment that I wouldn't have otherwise, so all is well.
