[Jython-users] Jython and import os

I have installed Jython on Windows NT 4.0. I have used the standard Java
stuff, so I use jview. The ActiveState Python 2.0 is already installed on
the machine. When I try to import os nothing is actually imported and I
can't use any functions. sys.builtin_module_names does not contain any name
referring to the operating system so that it seems as if os.py does not
know which of the platform-specific modules it should import. When I import
ntpath directly everything is fine.

I have experimented with the registry file but without success.

Am I stupid or what am I doing wrong?
