Well, it's neither pretty, nor quick, nor resource-friendly, but a temporary solution would be for you to download the full raw archive (http://mail.python.org/pipermail/jpython-interest.mbox/jpython-interest.mbox) and import that file into your favorite email program. Netscape for linux allows me to treat this file as a folder, and I can use its search tool to locate specifc messages within the archive. Having such functionality built into a webpage interface would of course be highly preferable though.
