Thanks for the credit, Finn.  When I left JPython almost two years ago I
underestimated how much support and development it still needed (especially
in jpythonc).  If you hadn't stepped forward and essentially taken over the
continuing development and user support, I think that JPython could easily
have faded from the world.

Instead, you managed to keep the development moving forward through a very
difficult time and are now poised to make what will arguably be the first
non-beta JPython/Jython release under a true open source license and
development model.  Thank you for keeping this project alive and kicking and
now ready to continue moving forward.
