With the recent release of Jython 2.7.0 (!), we can unfreeze
https://hg.python.org/jython

Thanks for the hard work of everyone who helped make this happen!

I will post my thoughts on the 2.7.1 release schedule, but unless critical
bugs come up earlier, let's plan on a release 6 months from now in early
November.
