In one of the third party class there was a static javax.swing.Timer with an interval of 500ms and it worked fine on NT. This seemed to only work on Win2000 if the interval was greater than 2000ms. However I changed the Timer to be non static and now it seems to be working fine on both platforms and I have absolutely no idea why. Still at least it works,
