Hi All, I'm trying to run a project that was written for Python with Jython and am getting an "Invalid method Code length" error. The file that gives the error has a lot of definitions of data and is some 5440 lines long. This project AthenaCL (http://www.athenacl.org) runs fine in Python, but fails in Jython. I am wondering what is the cause of this issue so that I can know how to work around it (what rule to go by, i.e. don't make files longer than xxxx lines, or don't do such and such), and am interested to hear recommendations on how to reorganize this. The barrier you are probably hitting is the method length limit in JVM bytecode. It is 65535 bytes max. Long methods, really long python lists or dictionaries defined in the source code, or anything like that will run up against this limit.
