I haven't really touched a mac in a long time, but I have heard OSX
referred to as "darwin" so it wouldn't surprise me. In case you
didn't know, OSX is a new Mac gui (looks similar to Aqua theme for
sawfish) around a *BSD (FreeBSD I think) kernel. It has libraries so
older apps will still work. It also has tcsh, etc, to give access to
the BSD functionality.
