[Jython-dev] obnoxious problems with .jar files.

Hi all,

I've been having a number of obnoxious problems with .jar files & making
up a distribution of my software.  Something that would simplify my life
would be the ability to import .py files from .jar files; did this patch
ever get entered?

(I can't search the list archives from Geocrawler...)

jar on the sys.path: yes
jar on classpath: not yet

...but it's not in Jython 2.1a3, correct?

Yup, but will be in 2.1b1, to appear
soon.
